Ellicott City. Most of our reader base will never have heard of this small historic place located a few miles from Baltimore, MD. Last week, however, they hit the news for devastating reasons. Succumbing to unforgiving thunderstorms and mass flooding, the city itself crumbled, buckling under the power that was thrown upon it. Destroyed and in tatters, the place is as of right now a shell of it’s former proud self. But as always, through all the chaos and grief, human nature has shown it’s kind face and the rebuilding process has begun.
Two of our homies, the very same homies now featured here on this page (husband and wife Dave and Macy Della), last week experienced first hand the devastation and are part of the very community now trying to find it’s feet again. We’ve published this story not only because these two are extremely talented peeps that we’ll always support, but because with your help the city can blossom as it once did. Imagine having no home, no business, no life that you once knew. That’s what these people are currently going through. If you can donate something, anything, each dollar or pound will be incredibly appreciated by people just like me and you, just hoping they can find their way again.
